Previously, he was a senior associate at Spencer Stuart, the world's largest privately-owned executive search firm. For 11 years, he executed and managed over 300 assignments, headed two technology competence centers and published a study on IT governance in the banking sector. He was also a member of the firm's nomination committee.
Very active in all aspects of board governance, he was a founding member of the Swiss Board Institute and co-founded a company that designs and organizes seminars for board members.
Prior to this, François spent several years in Hong Kong as Managing Director of the largest subsidiary of a listed Swiss company distributing luxury goods in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to his expatriation, François worked in Switzerland and Europe for technology and consulting companies in various sales, marketing and human resources functions.
Back in Switzerland, he managed a healthcare group, an SME active in salary management and the medical division of a high-tech start-up.
François holds a Master's degree from the University of Geneva. He speaks French, English and German. He currently lives in Geneva.
